Teach your child ways to treat things with care so your child can develop the understanding that actions have consequences.
Show how to be gentle. Your child wants to be friendly but ends up grabbing the baby roughly? Demonstrate it another way. You can show your child his love with his hands. You can actually take his hand and show him physically what a gentle touch is.
Speak softly. Your kindness will be a role model for how to treat others. When your child is in pain, be warm and caring. Maybe a hug would be nice. Young toddlers don’t have a very consistent long-term memory, so you’ll have to repeat your lessons more times than you thought possible.
Reject rudeness. Children sometimes do things like spit into their parents’ faces, and the parents will just laugh. This will not do. Compassion requires that your child respect others, including you. Gently but firmly correct your child’s behavior. In the same loving but no-nonsense manner. Remove his little feet from the table and unlock his fist from your hair.
Say I’m sorry. If you’ve been short-tempered with your child, apologize to him. All parents make mistakes. It’s how you address them afterward that make the difference; He’ll learn that everyone, even Mom, admits it when she’s
wrong.

Do you love guitars? Do you want to know how to play them? The best kind of guitar to begin on would be an acoustic guitar. This is because unlike electric guitars there are no extra requirements like leads, amps that you need to buy. Therefore an acoustic guitar is the cheapest option. Further to this, by learning to play on an acoustic guitar, if you do decide to invest in an electric guitar you will find it relatively simple to pick up. The first few months of learning to play an acoustic guitar are the most difficult, getting to grips with the basic cords and if played often enough your acoustic guitar will leave you with sore fingers. But once over this initial period your learning will really excel!
The best way to choose your acoustic guitar is down to your own individual tastes. Think about the kind of music you like and what sound you want your guitar to make. Check out a video of your favorite kind of music- see what guitar they are using to play then go down to your local guitar shop and test out a range of acoustic guitars before making your final decision. Ultimately make sure you choose the guitar that you are going to want to pick up again and again and one that you enjoy hearing the sound of.

What To Do: You will need to be in a quiet place where you wont be disturbed, for at least 10 minutes.
Finish reading through all the instructions in the next paragraph. To help you make your visualization more meaningful, there is a * sign to indicate that, during these parts, you can give yourself some time to let your imagination linger and really experience that part before moving on to the next. After reading all the instructions, put down this mag and close your eyes, so you can visualize what was described. Give yourself enough time to go through the whole exercise, and when you’re done, you can proceed to answering the supplied questions below.
Imagination Exercise: Take five deep, slow, calming breaths. With your eyes closed, imagine the following scene: You are slowly walking into a room, and then you realize that you’re standing inside the living room of the house you lived in when you were a teenager. You feel relaxed as you look around, remembering a few memories from that time in your life. Eventually, you notice that the television set is turned on. You move closer, and with a start, you realize that the screen is now showing a documentary of one of those things that angers you most about the world. You feel an incredible surge of emotion as you watch the scene, and you have the overwhelming urge to do something about it. But then you remember that here in your imagination you can do anything, so you control the television set with your mind, and the images suddenly change: They are now showing a heartwarming documentary of the exact opposite of what you were watching earlier. With growing happiness you realize that this is what you want to happen, this is what is right. With a smile on your face, you now turn off the television, and you let your imagination retum to where you are right now. When you’re ready, open your eyes.
